Ed shoots back another Hitchcock Chaser with 1955's Trouble With Harry

"I fired three bullets. Three! One for the hunting sign, one for the tin can..."

Ed's back shooting down Hitchcock Chasers with better luck than Captain Albert Wiles has shooting a rabbit for dinner.

One could argue that all of Hitchcock's films are darkly comic in at least their undercurrents but a few decide to through subtlety to the wind and bask in their oddball comedic glory. The Trouble With Harry is one of these such films.

So what are you waiting for? Rabbit stew? Head over here to check it out!

Have a double-shot of Hitchcock Chasers on us!

It would appear that Ed was feeling suspiciously productive as he has two new Hitchcock Chasers for you to imbibe!

First up check out his thoughts on 1943's Shadow of a Doubt. Rumor has it this was Hitch's personal favorite of his own flicks, click here to see what Ed thought.

Next, if you can handle your liquor, you can chase Shadow of a Doubt with 1948's oft referenced "one" take murder flick Rope. Head here to check it out, B.Y.O.C. (The "C" is for cocktail).

All aboard! We get back on track with Strangers on a Train:

Oh hey there, it's been a little while since we talked last (well, me write and you read, I 'spose). Sorry about that! Cinebriated has kind of been dormant as of late but you may notice it has gone through something of a facelift and streamlining recently that looks pretty slick if we do say so ourselves!

Now that old business is outta the way it's about time we got this engine firing on all cylinders again and I can't think of a better way to get back on track than with a new Hitchcock Chasers from Ed. This time he takes on ol' Hitch's 1951 darkly comic Strangers on a Train. We'll see you in the dining car later, first round's on us!

Old but not out, Joe reviews Stand Up Guys!

If Christopher Walken, Alan Arkin and Al Pacino approached me and asked if I wanted to rob a bank with them I probably wouldn't hesitate. Sure, there is no way I'd be coming out of without serious jail time or going down in a hail of gunfire but it would totally worth it for one helluva ride!

As awesome as that going down in reality would be I haven't been approached by that aging triumvirate af badassary so I guess we'll all have to settle for the movie version by way of Stand Up Guys. There ain't no school like the old school so check out Joe's review right here!

Joe is back with a review of Silver Linings Playbook!

First thing's first: Jennifer Lawrence call me.

Joe is back with a review of a little film that is getting serious Oscar buzz and that flick is none other than Silver Linings Playbook. While he can't quite pin down how to exactly categorize SLP he finds more than a couple reasons to really enjoy it. He says it'll have some trouble finding an audience despite being thoroughly enjoyable but we can change that right now!

So head on over here to scope out his full thoughts on mental health, Bradley Cooper and the Philidelphia Eagles!
